College is Possible!

In this session, attendees will be introduced to postsecondary education opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities. We will highlight resources available for families, students, and professionals on our website, ThinkCollege.net, including a searchable directory of all college programs in the US that cater to students with intellectual disabilities.

Mindy Lingo, PhD  will delve into college options, providing insights into the student experience and demonstrating how to navigate our directory to explore postsecondary opportunities. Additionally, practical information on preparing students for college will be shared, with concrete examples of actions students, families, and schools can take to ensure their readiness for higher education.
