We are excited to be offering an 8 week session of The Improvaneers Method for young adults 16 years and older! This is a program that uses improvisation to build and improve skills that will greatly increase social and workplace opportunities for those of ALL abilities. Skills that are addressed include Eye Contact, Voice Projection, Problem Solving, Adaption to Change, Listening, Focus, Quick Thinking, Creative Thinking, Character Development and SELF CONFIDENCE.
The program is a hybrid model - six classes are held virtually on Tuesdays and two classes are held in person at Club 21 on Saturdays.
Session #2 Begins October 7th.
Schedule is as follows:
Online classes (TUESDAYS): October: 7th, 14th and 21st (Tuesdays/6:30-7:30)
In person class (SATURDAY): November: 1st (10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) Students Only
Online classes (WEDNESDAY): November 5th (Wednesday/6:30-7:30)
Online classes (TUESDAYS): November 11th, 18th (Tuesdays/6:30-7:30)
In person class (SATURDAY): December 6th (10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m./ Showcase for parents is 12:00-12:30) Please plan on attending the showcase.

Lucy Hamilton
Lucy is a longtime educator, improviser, and advocate for inclusive creative spaces. She spent over a decade as a middle school and special education teacher before transitioning into the world of comedy full-time. Now an active performer, coach, and showrunner in the Los Angeles improv scene, Lucy brings her love of collaboration and connection to every space she works in. Lucy is thrilled to bring her experience to Club 21 and believes strongly in the power of play, presence, and community!

Sausha Gruca
Sausha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a small business owner with a passion for supporting others through life’s journey. She has been actively involved in the Down Syndrome community for over 10 years and has volunteered with Club 21 over the past year. In her free time, she enjoys making pottery, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends—especially her husband and their beloved dog, Buster. She is very excited to build relationships with fellow troupe members and share the Improvaneer Method with Club 21!
