2024-2025 Educational Partnership Program

Providing educators, support staff, and families with a place to expand their knowledge and build their educational toolboxes for supporting individuals with Down syndrome and other complex learning profiles.

Here's what you will learn:

  • Innovative teaching strategies grounded in research and applied practice from professionals that are current in the field
  • Apply learned strategies into practice
  • Build IEPs that are strength-based and neurodiversity affirming

What sets this program apart from years past?

  • On demand and unlimited access to program content for educators and families of the year
  • An option to provide unique support to families that are homeschooling or in alternative school settings
  • Flexible in- person coaching sessions or virtual consultation options— No substitutes or time- off required
  • Incentives for educator participation in our Educator Certificate Program. 

Educator Certificate Program

  • All Registered Educators will be eligible to apply for a spot to participate in our Educator Certificate program (25 hours) to earn a $750 stipend upon completion. 
  • Every Educator will receive a Certificate of Participation based on hours logged.

Option 1- Core Program​​​​​​

  • Family + 1 educator (*additional educators/support providers $50 for Core Program and an additional $50 for Tools for the Journey= Total $100)
  • Access to online course content pre-recorded sessions
  • Access to 4 in-person educator coaching sessions
  • Access to 6 virtual family sessions Access to ongoing virtual consultation with Educational Consultant
  • Family and educator access to the Club 21 Mod Pod materials: copier, laminator, adapted curriculum
  • Educator access to Tools for the Journey at no additional cost

Option 2- Home School Alternative School Cohort

(For families that are currently homeschooling or in an independent study program)

  • Access to all of the Core Program
  • 3 virtual forums for families to discuss and troubleshoot facilitated by professionals in the field on accommodations, modifications, and specific topics related to homeschooling/independent studies - Dates TBD (dependent upon enrollment)

Option 3- Educators and Service Providers Only

(Not attached to an enrolled family)

  • Access to online course content pre-recorded sessions
  • Access to 4 in-person educator coaching sessions
  • Access to ongoing virtual consultation with Educational Consultant
  • Access to the Club 21 Mod Pod materials: copier, laminator, adapted curriculum 
  • Access to the Tools for the Journey Conference at no additional cost

Cost for Teachers and Service Providers ( OTs, SLPs, School Psychologist): $100

Cost for Paraprofessionals and Assistants ( 1:1, Behavior Aides, SLPAs, OTAs, ILS Workers, Community Integrators): $50
