Partners in Transition: The Real World of Transitions for 16 years & up
When: Meets twice a month for 5 months August- January (No meeting in December)
One Live meeting (Second Saturday) and one Zoom meeting on a Monday.
Who: Parents of individuals with Down syndrome 16 years and up.
Outcome: Parents will gain information on 5 topics related to navigating life after High School. Each topic will have supplemental information and will have one task to follow up on the topic WITH either their child/school
Cost: $400 (Parent Paid or SDP. Scholarships Available)

Dr. Richard RosenbergRichard Rosenberg has over 35 years of teaching and administrative experience and is presently a faculty member at California State University, Los Angeles and San Diego State University as Region Manager two federal grants - California Career Innovations CII and CaPROMISE. He also has many years of experience with coordination of vocational and career support for all students with special education needs.

Dr. Patti AdamsPatti Adams comes to Club 21 after 35 years in the public school system. As a special education teacher she established one of the first transition programs for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Patti also has years of experience as a school district administrator for a special education department where she focused on transition, supporting students with moderate/severe disabilities, inclusion, and work experience programs.
